IPL 2020 schedule will be released on Sunday

IPL Fever has already started. The IPL matches are scheduled to begin from 19 September to 10 November 2020. The Venue decided for the IPL are Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah.

-IPL Players already arrived at the destination. And upon arrival, everyone went for the Covid-19 test as part of precautionary measures. 


The 13th edition of the Indian Premier League will be played outside India due to the Coronavirus pandemic outbreak.


The chairman Brijesh Patel confirmed that the IPL schedule would be announced on Sunday.  The IPL is the cash-rich league.  Small players from various places also got an opportunity to share their experiences with Senior Players and learn from them.


The opening match is played by the finalist of last year. Last year finalists were Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians. However, because some players tested positive in Chennai Super Kings, CSK could be replaced by Royal Challengers  Banglore (RCB), and the captain is Virat Kohli.


The Venues selected for this mega event are Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi.


After the covid-19 test, some players' reports come into positive due to which the quarantine period extended.


13 players from CSK tested positive for Covid-19 last week when tested again, it came out to be negative. There was a significant relief for CSK owners and teams.


During IPL, 20000 Covid-19 tests will be conducted, and BCCI sanctions Rs. 10 crore budget.


The contract to conduct the test is with UAE based VPS healthcare company. BCCI will bear each covid-19 test cost, which is 200 AED (Dirham), excluding taxes. The number of testing can go beyond 20,000.


The franchises who are part of this mega event will bear the cost of testing. RT-PCR test is BCCI responsibility, which started on 20 August when IPL teams started landing in UAE. 


The company has assigned 75 healthworkers for COVID test.
